During 2010 we have had the opportunity to work with some fantastic events all over the UK and abroad, providing event supplies used by some of the finest athletes, people going to extraordinary efforts to raise money for good causes, and organisers going the extra mile to make their event a success. Announcement

Due to adverse weather conditions being experienced in different parts of the UK, some of our courier service providers are experiencing delays in their networks.

Couriers are requesting people to note that while your local area may not be directly affected by snow, related transport hubs and networks may still be impacted.

At Running Imp we will continue to despatch all orders on schedule and we would like to reassure customers that we are in regular communication with all our couriers for the very latest updates on the areas affected. Unfortunately, however, once the goods have been despatched from our building, we cannot guarantee the delivery date.

Great Lincoln Santa Run & Walk 2010

The 5th annual Great Lincoln Santa Fun Run & Walk 2010 took place on Sunday 12th December amongst snowy scenery in Lincoln's historic Bailgate area.

The event was hailed as a triumph with just under 1,100 Santa's taking part to help raise money for local charities.

The course was altered slightly this year to accommodate for the icy conditions, and with the help of the Highways Agency and the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia to get the event underway, Running Imp played its part in making this year's event a great success yet again.

This year the event was kindly sponsored by Siemens.

All the correx signage for the new 3 lap course was provided by Running Imp. Information about our full range of correx signs can be found here.

Hundreds of specially designed finishers medals were laid out in readiness for the arrival of Lincoln's dashing Santa's.

The medals were designed and produced by bespokemedals.com, sister company to Running Imp and the UK's largest supplier of personalised medals.

This year's medal is also a unique Christmas tree decoration, designed to look like a festive gold bauble for proud runners and walkers to display at home.

Lincoln Santa Run Will Go Ahead!

Organisers of the Great Lincoln Santa Fun Run & Walk are pleased to be able to confirm that the event WILL be taking place as scheduled on Sunday 12th December.

The course route has been changed from previous years, incorporating a new three lap circuit around Lincoln's historic Bailgate area. Those taking part are welcome to attempt as many of the three laps as they wish.

The fun run and walk will start at 11.30am. People are welcome to enter and collect Santa suits on the day, however organisers would like to encourage all those looking to do so to arrive early and avoid delay.

Latest: Lincoln Santa Fun Run & Walk

Organisers of the Great Lincoln Santa Fun Run & Walk would like to announce that despite recent weather conditions the event, as it stands currently, will go ahead.

We would like all those who have entered the fun run to know that in the unlikely event of a cancellation, the announcement will be displayed on this website.

Should the event be cancelled, the news will also be displayed immediately on the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia website and on the event's official Facebook page (click to view here).

Those wishing to check whether or not the event is still scheduled to go ahead this weekend will be able to call the Running Imp sales line - 01522 521013 - and an automated message will confirm the status of the event.

Running Imp will be open from 9.00am to 12.30pm on Saturday 11th December for all those seeking the latest event news. Organisers would also like to encourage all those who have entered to try to collect their suits early from Running Imp to avoid queuing on event day. Details on how to find us can be found here.

Anyone who hasn't yet entered the Santa Fun Run can still do so by visiting Running Imp this week and filling out an application. Entries are £10 and each participant receives a FREE Santa suit to run in and a FREE commemorative finishers medal.

Anyone not able to visit Running Imp before Sunday will still be able to enter and collect their Santa suits on the day in Castle Square, however organisers would again like to encourage those doing so to arrive early and avoid delays.

Finally, event organisers would like to assure everyone who has entered that everything is being done to ensure that the event takes place and the course is completely safe for all those participating.
